Our client has been established for more than 20 years and is recognized as a market leader in the provision of bespoke innovative materials handling and automation solutions to various industry sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued success and strategic growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Based near Nottingham, the successful candidate will work within a technology-focused design environment, creating innovative solutions for clients in industries including Parcel, Ecommerce, Manufacturing, and Robotics. Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, developing design criteria, assessing risks, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting the design process.

Candidates should have proven experience in bespoke machine design, material handling, and robotics. A degree in mechanical engineering is advantageous but not essential. At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment, proficiency in SolidWorks, and knowledge of logistics and supply chain solutions are preferred.
