Job summary

EDF is seeking a Lead Mechanical Construction Planner to lead the Mechanical Construction Planning team on the Hinkley Point C project. You will develop and maintain Level 5 mechanical construction schedules aligned to programme milestones and coordinate cross-discipline interfaces.

You will confirm four-week lookahead readiness, produce progress reports and contribute to the 16-week lookahead, delivering reliable plans for safe, on-time execution. Site-based construction experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Higher National Certificate in Engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in planning environments.
• Experience leading planning teams on major projects.
• Experience developing and managing integrated construction schedules.
• Experience using Primavera P6 planning software.
• Site-based construction planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Mechanical Construction Planning team to support project delivery.
• Develop and maintain Level 5 mechanical construction schedules aligned to milestones.
• Confirm activities entering the four-week planning window are mature for construction.
• Identify and manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other disciplines.
• Produce planning reports and contribute to the 16-week lookahead programme.
