Job summary

EDF is seeking a Lead Mechanical Construction Planner to coordinate and drive the planning for a major nuclear construction project at Hinkley Point C. The role focuses on leading a planning team and delivering Level 5 schedules aligned to milestones.

Candidates should have an Engineering HNC, extensive experience in construction planning and proficiency with Primavera P6, plus site-based project exposure. This is a full-time on-site role within the UK nuclear programme.

Qualifications

• Leading planning teams within major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Developing and managing integrated construction schedules.
• Experience delivering planning outputs for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the Mechanical Construction Planning team to support project delivery.
• Developing and maintaining integrated Level 5 mechanical construction schedules aligned to programme milestones.
• Confirming activities entering the four-week planning window are sufficiently mature and ready for construction.
• Identifying and managing interfaces between mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and other delivery disciplines.
• Producing mechanical planning reports, progress reviews and contributions to the overall 16-week lookahead programme.
