Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Lead Mechanical Construction Planner for the Hinkley Point C site near Bridgwater, Somerset. The role combines leadership of a planning team with hands-on development of integrated mechanical schedules to align with major project milestones.

Qualifications

• Higher National Certificate in an Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the Mechanical Construction Planning team to support project delivery.
• Developing and maintaining integrated Level 5 mechanical construction schedules aligned to programme milestones.
• Confirming activities entering the four-week planning window are sufficiently mature and ready for construction.
• Identifying and managing interfaces between mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and other delivery disciplines.
• Producing mechanical planning reports, progress reviews and contributions to the overall 16-week lookahead programme.
