Job summary

Hinkley Point C is seeking an Electrical Construction Planner to develop and maintain detailed Level 5 electrical construction schedules on site. This hands-on role within the MEH Programme involves turning complex electrical works into clear plans, tracking progress and ensuring safe, predictable delivery.

You will work closely with construction and delivery teams, establish readiness criteria, highlight constraints and schedule risks, and provide regular progress updates and productivity

Qualifications

• 5+ years planning experience in construction environments.
• HNC in engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Level 5 construction schedules.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and confirm readiness with site teams.
• Methodical, evidence-based progress measurement and reporting.
• Ability to spot constraints and communicate risks early.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed electrical Level 5 construction schedules
• Prepare and update weekly electrical four-week lookahead plans
• Align schedules with the overall 16-week lookahead and programme milestones
• Establish activity-level progress and quantity measurement requirements
• Integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements into the plan
• Confirm activity readiness with construction and delivery teams
• Produce accurate, evidence-based schedule progress updates, including installed and remaining quantity trackers
• Deliver planned versus actual quantity and productivity reports
• Provide electrical inputs to the overall MEH 16-week lookahead
