Hull City Council is seeking an experienced Technical Officer (Grade 10) to design, specify and manage building construction and maintenance projects across a diverse property portfolio. You will lead on design, refurbishment and statutory compliance, reporting to the Associate Building Services Engineer.

The role requires extensive knowledge of mechanical building services, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex contracts and cross‑disciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Proven background in mechanical building services engineering.
• Experience with maintenance, inspection, testing and statutory compliance.
• Ability to interpret technical information for decision-making.
• Experience across sectors including leisure, commercial, heritage, education and housing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on building construction and maintenance projects.
• Prepare technical specifications and oversee works to completion.
• Monitor planned maintenance programmes and statutory servicing contracts.
• Provide technical input for CMMS and asset management.
