Job summary

Hull City Council seeks a Technical Officer Electrical Engineer to provide professional building technical services, lead electrical design, specification and project management for building construction and services across new builds, maintenance and refurbishment programmes.

You will monitor planned maintenance, manage statutory compliance and contracts, undertake condition surveys and provide technical advice in line with current legislation and best practice.

Qualifications

• Proven background in electrical building services engineering.
• Experience with maintenance, inspection and statutory compliance.
• Ability to interpret technical information and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, specification and project management of building services for new build, maintenance and refurbishment.
• Monitor, deliver and report on planned maintenance; manage servicing contracts.
• Undertake condition surveys and provide technical advice in accordance with legislation.
• Lead on minor electrical design and oversee works through to completion.
• Work across sectors including leisure, commercial, heritage, museum, education and housing.
