Job summary

The London Clinic is seeking a senior MDT Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support cancer MDT meetings and ensure timely, coordinated patient care. You will liaise with Consultants, Nurse Specialists and radiology/pathology teams, keeping information flowing and meetings running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role within a healthcare setting.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Experience maintaining accurate databases and reports, with confidence using Microsoft Office and meeting technology.
• A calm, professional and sensitive approach when handling confidential patient information.
• The flexibility to attend some evening MDT meetings when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cancer MDT meetings to ensure clinical teams have the information they need to make timely decisions
• Prepare agendas, patient lists and supporting documents so each case is ready for discussion
• Work with clinical and administrative colleagues to gather any missing information and avoid delays to patient care
• Arrange reviews of external scans and tissue samples when required
• Attend meetings and accurately record diagnoses, treatment recommendations and agreed actions
• Share MDT outcomes securely and promptly so the relevant teams can progress each patient's care
• Maintain accurate records, databases and reports to support audits and service improvement
• Support virtual and urgent MDT meetings to help patients receive timely decisions
• Help improve the MDT service so it continues to meet the needs of patients and clinical teams
• Guide and support MDT Coordinators, provide team cover and deputise for the MDT Manager when required
