Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Cancer Services MDT Co-ordinator to support delivery of high-quality cancer care by organising MDT meetings and managing patient pathways.

You will work with consultants, cancer pathway trackers and admin teams to ensure timely decisions, accurate data collection, and compliance with national Cancer Waiting Time standards across designated cancer specialties.

Qualifications

• GCSE in Mathematics and English (or equivalent) required.
• RSA III or equivalent administrative qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend MDT meetings, accurately record discussions and decisions, and communicate outcomes to clinical teams.
• Maintain and update patient information across clinical systems and the Somerset Cancer Register, ensuring data quality.
• Liaise with clinicians, diagnostic departments and external organisations to support timely patient management and MDT discussions.
• Support national cancer reporting requirements and contribute to audits and service development projects.
• Provide specialist administrative support to Cancer Services and contribute to MDT process improvements.
