Contract: Maternity Cover (with potential for permanent role)
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, hybrid

Job overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Business Development professional to play a key role in driving the growth of Brandsmiths. You will support the delivery of marketing campaigns, business development initiatives, and client engagement strategies aimed at positioning Brandsmiths as the leading firm in intellectual property.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing & BD, alongside lawyers and the leadership team, you will help build brand awareness, attract new business, and strengthen client relationships.
This is a full-time maternity cover position, with the potential to become permanent at the end of the contract.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and development of the firm’s rankings, awards submissions and key industry recognition opportunities.
- The management and development of client bids and tenders.
- Identify and integrate sponsorships and partnerships designed to enhance the awareness and reputation of the firm.
- Account-based marketing campaign planning and activation.
- Assist in the preparation of client pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Plan and activate Marketing’s role across all touchpoints designed to nurture and convert leads into the firm.
- Acquire client reviews, case studies, and testimonials to showcase the firm’s success stories.
- Work with each team to develop their personal brand through LinkedIn and thought leadership content.

- An eye for detail, with a commitment to high standards in your profession.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
