Unknown company in the UK is seeking a Senior Aftersales Engineer to support customers, dealers and vessels globally across lifecycle stages. This role blends workshop and on-site problem solving, with travel required to customer sites, marinas and shipyards.

The candidate will diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical and onboard marine systems, conduct commissioning and sea trials, and lead warranty investigations while ensuring high-quality service and reporting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in leisure marine manufacturing or shipyard.
• Experience building, commissioning, servicing or maintaining high-performance leisure craft.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical aftersales support for custom-built RIBs and superyacht tenders.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and systems faults.
• Carry out commissioning, sea trials and vessel handovers.
• Travel to customer sites, marinas, shipyards and superyachts for repairs and investigations.
• Manage warranty claims from diagnosis to completion with clear communication.
• Produce detailed technical reports after inspections and warranty investigations.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to drive improvements.
• Support dealer networks with technical guidance and troubleshooting.
