Senior Manufacturing Technician - High Wycombe - GBP33,000pa to GBP36,000pa plus benefits

A global specialist manufacturer with a rich history and strong presence in their industry is seeking to recruit a Senior Manufacturing Technician with a mechanical bias. Joining a talented manufacturing team, the successful candidate will ensure that high-tech products are fully assembled and tested prior to shipment.

This is a hands-on mechanical role ideally suited for someone passionate about mechanical assembly and production work. The company's products involve various mechanical components, making each build slightly different to meet design specifications. Key experience required includes working with UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) equipment and pumping technology.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Relevant engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship or NVQ
• Practical skills in machining, welding, leak detection, mechanical and electrical/electronic assembly, wiring looms, soldering, and bench assemblies
• Experience with UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) systems
• Background in manufacturing or production roles
• Understanding of production processes
• Analytical skills for fault finding and repair
• Strong technical and product knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
