Job summary

HOIST is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong manufacturing background to help drive ERP implementation projects in the UK. You will gather requirements, map business processes, and translate them into clear functional specifications for development teams, emphasizing shop orders, shop floors, material flow, time allocation, and cost considerations.

Applicants should have 5+ years in manufacturing ERP environments, fluent English, and solid experience in client-facing roles.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing ERP environments
Experience with shop orders, shop floors, material consumption and material flow in manufacturing
Experience with cost considerations, efficiency and utilization in manufacturing processes
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
Analyze business processes, systems, and user needs to identify improvements.
Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
Translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
Perform gap analyses between requirements and current systems.
Work with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and timely issue resolution.
Participate in design and architecture discussions to align with business goals.
Support and train users, and develop user documentation.
