Job summary

HOIST is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with strong manufacturing acumen and ERP experience, including shop orders, shop floors, material flow, costing, and utilization. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and collaborate with stakeholders and development teams.

The role involves creating user stories and use cases, performing gap analyses, and guiding system improvements across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in Manufacturing environments and ERPs.
• Experience with shop orders, shop floors, materials flow, costing, efficiency, and utilization.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; or equivalent.
• 3+ years in client-facing roles.
• 2+ years ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
• Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Gather and define project requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and user needs for improvements.
• Create functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform gap analyses between requirements and current systems.
• Collaborate with development teams for implementation and issue resolution.
• Participate in design discussions to align with business goals.
• Provide training sessions and user documentation.
• Support the software development lifecycle with ongoing clarification.
• Monitor feedback and system performance for improvements.
