Job summary

HOIST is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with strong manufacturing ERP experience to join our client-driven team in the UK. You will analyze manufacturing processes, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable specifications for development teams.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, document user stories, and participate in design discussions to ensure solutions meet business goals. Travel up to 50% is expected, with fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in manufacturing environments and ERPs.
Experience with shop orders, shop floors, material consumption, and cost tracking.
Post-secondary engineering education with manufacturing/industrial focus.
Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles.
Minimum 2 years in ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
Experience with IFS would be an asset.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with project management software tools.
50% travel availability.
Legally entitled to work in the country you are applying for.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
Analyze business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements.
Create and maintain functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Perform gap analysis between requirements and current systems.
Work with development teams to ensure correct implementation and issue resolution.
Participate in design discussions to align with business goals.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
Perform QA testing to verify software meets requirements.
Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management.
Provide ongoing support during the software development lifecycle.
Analyze feedback and performance data for continuous improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Act as SME for processes, systems, and software functionality.
Conduct training and create user documentation.
