Job summary

HOIST is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with strong manufacturing experience to partner with stakeholders across ERP projects. The role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing shop floor processes, and translating complex concepts into actionable specifications.

You will support design, testing, training, and continuous improvement while travel up to 50% may be required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing environments, ERP experience (IFS desirable), and excellent

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' progressive experience within Manufacturing environments and ERPs.
Experience with shop orders, shop floors, material consumption and material flow in manufacturing processes.
Post-secondary education in engineering/manufacturing.
2+ years client-facing roles preferred.
ERP implementation/upgrade experience.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Gather and define project requirements with Stakeholders.
Analyze business processes, systems and user needs for solutions.
Create and maintain detailed requirements documents, user stories and use cases.
Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Perform gap analysis between requirements and current systems.
Collaborate with development teams to implement requirements and resolve issues.
Participate in design discussions and ensure alignment with business goals.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
Support QA to ensure software meets requirements.
Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management.
Provide training and create user documentation.
