Job summary

HOIST is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong manufacturing background to join our client-driven team in the UK. You will work on ERP-related initiatives, focusing on shop orders, shop floors, material consumption, and cost calculations across the manufacturing process.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing/ERP environments, 3+ years in client-facing roles, and 2+ years in ERP implementations or upgrades. English fluency and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing/ERP experience.
Experience with shop orders and shop floors in manufacturing.
Post-secondary engineering/technologist focus preferred.
Client-facing roles: minimum 3 years.
ERP implementation/upgrade experience: 2+ years.
Experience with IFS is an asset.
Fluent in English with excellent written/verbal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
Analyze business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions.
Create and maintain functional & non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases.
Translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Perform gap analyses between requirements and current systems.
Work with development teams for accurate implementation and issue resolution.
Participate in design and architecture discussions to align with goals.
Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
Perform QA testing to ensure software meets requirements.
Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management.
Provide ongoing support during SDLC and training sessions.
Analyze feedback and performance data for continuous improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Act as SME for business processes and software functionality.
