Job summary
Rolls-Royce SMR is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Site Installations to develop installation methods, sequencing and strategies for assembling and integrating equipment on site. You will report to the Senior Manufacturing Manager and collaborate with engineering and construction teams in a hybrid setup across Derby, Manchester or Warrington offices with occasional travel.
The role requires experience in manufacturing or installation engineering, strong method development and process
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or installation engineering experience.
- Method development and process planning experience.
- Strong stakeholder management capability.
- Experience of large engineered product assembly or installation.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Define installation methodologies and ensure constructability.
- Support integration activities across engineering and construction teams.
- Support Design for Manufacture and Assembly activities.
- Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to ensure installability.
- Engage with suppliers and contractors.
