Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Limited is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Site Installations to develop installation methods, sequencing, and on-site integration strategies for assembling and installing manufactured equipment.

You will report to the Senior Manufacturing Manager and work across engineering and construction teams, with hybrid working from Derby, Manchester or Warrington and regular supplier travel, including international travel where required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or installation engineering experience.
• Method development and process planning.
• Strong stakeholder management capability.
• Experience of large engineered product assembly or installation.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define installation methodologies, ensure constructability considerations are incorporated and support integration activities across engineering and construction teams.
• Support Design for Manufacture and Assembly activities.
• Work with construction and engineering teams to ensure install ability.
• Support supplier and contractor engagement activities.
