Zusammenfassung

Luton Bennett is seeking a Senior Engineer in Telford to lead maintenance and continuous improvement within an automated manufacturing environment. The role prioritizes uptime, efficiency, and team leadership across six engineers, technicians and apprentices.

Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:00am–4:00pm on Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering qualification and bring substantial experience supervising a manufacturing team, implementing

Qualifikationen

Senior/lead engineering experience in automated manufacturing.
Proven ability to improve uptime and efficiency.
Knowledge of lean principles.
Experience with PLCs, robotics, conveyors.

Aufgaben

Manage PPM schedules and reactive maintenance.
75% people management, 25% hands-on.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support installation of new equipment.
Lead lean and CI activities.
Monitor downtime.
Mentor a multidisciplinary team of six.
