Job summary

Luton Bennett in Telford is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join a quality‑focused manufacturing site. This role suits a mechanically or electrically biased engineer who can lead with purpose and support maintenance strategies.

You will attend breakdowns, fault find, monitor and repair critical systems (compressed air, vacuum, RO plant, effluent, HVAC) and implement improvements while carrying out installation work. The position offers a structured development environment and onsite benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Mechanically or electrically biased.
• Leadership experience and an engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Attending breakdowns
• Fault finding on systems
• Maintain, monitor and repair critical auxiliary systems (e.g., Compressed air, Vacuum, RO Plant, Effluent Plant, Extraction)
• Implement improvements
• Installation work
• Basic maintenance tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, LED)
