NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Manager to lead the Youth Health Service (YHS) in Glasgow. The YHS provides clinical and non-clinical support to 12-19 year-olds across nine venues, led by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, GPs, and support staff.

The postholder will manage the YHS staff, deliver a high-quality, person-centred service, and work with partners to improve young people’s health and wellbeing.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with a post graduate/Masters qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and management competencies in a clinical multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience of managing staff, performance and service improvement.
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
• High level clinical knowledge to support multi-disciplinary teams and governance.
• Experience of working with young people is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and lead the Youth Health Service staff team in Glasgow city.
• Deliver a high-quality, person-centred service to young people aged 12–19.
• Collaborate with internal and external services to maximise health outcomes.
• Ensure clear clinical governance and service improvement through data collection and evaluation.
