NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is a major NHS Board responsible for delivering a wide range of health services across the Glasgow area. The Senior Crisis Practitioner within the Community Mental Health Team assesses individuals in crisis, delivers person-centred care, and manages a caseload in a multidisciplinary setting.

The post is permanent and full-time, with shift patterns across weekdays including some weekend coverage.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Significant community mental health experience.
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field, or willingness to work towards a recordable qualification.

• Manage Community Response Service caseloads.
• Assess and support individuals experiencing mental health crises.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate person-centred care.
• Make sound clinical decisions based on assessments.
• Maintain high professional and clinical standards.
• Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff.
• Contribute to service development, governance and quality improvement.
