Job summary

Wakefield Council is seeking a manager to join the supported living service for adults with learning disabilities in the community. You will oversee day-to-day operations to promote independence, rights and inclusion for tenants living in their own homes.

Lead induction, probation, supervision and staff development, coordinate rosters, and ensure policy compliance while safeguarding finances and data accuracy across up to 100 staff in the absence of the Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational responsibilities for tenants to live independently in the community.
• Oversee induction, probation, supervision, and identify staff development needs.
• Coordinate staff rotas and enforce Council policies and procedures.
• Shared responsibility for up to 100 staff in the Manager's absence.
• Accountability for safe management of expenditure and income for tenants’ personal finances.
• Produce and/or process manual and electronic data ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
