Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a Service Manager to oversee five small supported living services around NE6 2NZ and NE3 3DD in Newcastle, supporting 10 individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. You’ll lead a team, drive quality and safety, and work with local families and communities to ensure the best outcomes.

You’ll bring Level 3 Health & Social Care, plus strong operational and people management experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care is required.
• Level 5 qualification is desirable or candidates working towards it.
• A valid UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of care staff to deliver outstanding, person-centred support.
• Oversee five small supported living services in Newcastle, ensuring high-quality care for 10 individuals.
• Drive service improvements, quality standards, and safety across all services.
• Build strong relationships with families, staff, and local communities.
