Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service/Manager level candidate to lead a portfolio of learning disabilities supported living services. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring person-centred support, safeguarding compliance and high-quality outcomes.

You will report to an leadership team, with an Assistant Manager in place, and focus on staff development, service quality and continuous improvement within a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

  • Registration as a Social Care Manager with Social Care Wales.
  • Experience in a social care management role.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of person-centred approaches.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Resilience and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Genuine passion for improving outcomes and service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, supervise and develop staff teams.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care manager who is passionate about person-centred support, safeguarding, inclusion and enabling people to live independent and meaningful lives.

You will provide strong operational and people leadership across a small number of supported living houses within one geographical area, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for the people supported.

The Role Based from an office in St Asaph, with regular travel to your allocated services, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of your services and provide effective leadership to your staff teams.

You will be supported by an Assistant Manager and an experienced leadership team, giving you the opportunity to focus on service quality, staff development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

About You
  • A relevant qualification that enables registration as a Social Care Manager with Social Care Wales.
  • Previous experience within a social care management role.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The resilience and ability to manage competing priorities.
