Job summary

Capital One UK is seeking a Senior Auditor to join the UK Audit team focusing on the Global Payment Network. The role entails conducting operational and compliance audits, developing audit programs, and communicating findings to management.

This permanent position offers hybrid work patterns with three in-office days and two remote days, based in London or Nottingham. You’ll work across risk assessments and audits, leverage data analytics, and build strong relationships with business partners to

• Experience of risk assessments or audits in payment networks.
• Proven history of delivering internal or external audit.
• Ability to assess business risks and design risk-based testing.
• Strong focus on quality and timeliness.
• Ability to build influential relationships to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

• Own completion of components of our payment network audits.
• Develop engagement planning documentation for assigned areas.
• Design and execute audit procedures to verify internal controls.
• Document auditee processes, review evidence, identify issues.
• Leverage data and analytical tools during planning and fieldwork.
• Prepare clear documentation to support work performed.
• Communicate audit progress to team and management.
• Plan own work; juggle priorities across the team.
