Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA status.
• Extensive management accounting experience, minimum milestone years.
• Previous senior or supervisory role experience.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel.
• Confident in presenting financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Highly organised and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative and professional approach towards stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing the month-end process including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Producing detailed variance analysis with clear explanations of movements.
• Preparing monthly financial performance reporting and insights.

• Confident communicator able to present financial information to non-financial colleagues

This role is based full time in office, between our Poole and Portland offices in Dorset. Youll provide high-quality financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and oversee the delivery of management accounting activities. Youll work closely with the Senior Accountant and lead the work of our Management Accountants, helping to drive accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement across the function.
