Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a busy food manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. You will take ownership of day-to-day engineering operations and lead a team of shift engineers and shift leaders to keep the factory running smoothly.

Reporting to the Engineering Controller, you will drive preventative maintenance, manage reactive issues and collaborate with production to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in a food manufacturing environment.
• Background in chilled food or bakery is preferred.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate.
• Organised, proactive and capable of decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop shift engineers, shift leaders and the maintenance team.
• Own day-to-day maintenance across a busy manufacturing site.
• Drive preventative maintenance, reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Manage reactive issues and prioritising workloads in a fast-moving environment.
• Work closely with production to keep the factory running safely and efficiently.
• Develop the team, set standards and hold people accountable.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and site investment.
