Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for an Engineering Manager in Wrexham to lead the engineering department within a leading food manufacturer. You will oversee day-to-day operations, safety, reliability, and efficiency of plant equipment, utilities and facilities, and drive improvements in maintenance and compliance.

With 3+ years in a maintenance/engineering leadership role, you will develop the team, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to BRCGS, HACCP and HSE standards while delivering site

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a maintenance/engineering leadership role within food manufacturing.
• Qualifications in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Engaged, positive leader with problem-solving ability.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, HSE regs and food safety standards.
• Data-driven with CI tools and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engineering operations to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Lead maintenance, asset care and compliance across the function.
• Drive preventative maintenance and improvements to reduce downtime and improve stability.
• Manage departmental budget, resource planning and contractor oversight.
• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team.
