Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager / M&E Manager to join a £100m super prime residential refurbishment project in Surrey. You will oversee mechanical services delivery, coordinate M&E packages from installation through to handover, and work closely with the project team, consultants and subcontractors on a landmark development.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of building services, excellent communication, and a proven ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Solid experience coordinating M&E packages on large projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services and installation sequences.
• Excellent communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on site.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain quality under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of mechanical and public health installations to a significant section of the project.
• Coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Monitor quality control and ensure all installations meet project and client requirements.
• Work closely with the site, commercial and design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover activities.
