Job summary

Aneson Kroft Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Manager to lead the MEP delivery on a major London hotel refurbishment. The project encompasses 900+ guestrooms, spa, gym and rooftop spaces, with live site constraints and complex coordination.

You will own the MEP package through critical stages, ensuring installation quality, timely commissioning and effective subcontractor performance. A strong leadership presence and hands-on site approach are essential.

London | Tier 1 Main Contractor | 8-12 Month Duration | CIS Day Rate

We're working with Tier 1 main contractor to find an experienced Senior M&E Manager to lead the MEP delivery on a major, high-profile London hotel transformation.

The scheme involves the comprehensive refurbishment and repositioning of a landmark hotel, including more than 900 guestrooms, extensive front-of-house and guest amenity spaces, new spa, pool and gym facilities, rooftop hospitality space, structural alterations, façade upgrades, new lifts and a complete replacement of the building's mechanical and electrical infrastructure. It is a complex, quality-led project combining refurbishment, fit-out and major services replacement within a live urban environment.

Now around halfway through the programme, this is a key delivery role for an individual who can take ownership of the MEP package through the next critical stages, ensuring the highest standards of installation, quality, coordination and subcontractor performance.

The role:

• Lead the day-to-day MEP delivery across a complex large-scale refurbishment project.
• Drive quality control across mechanical, electrical and public-health installations, ensuring works meet programme, specification and commissioning requirements.
• Manage and challenge MEP subcontractors, maintaining strong control of progress, resourcing, workmanship and close-out.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Director, construction, design, commercial and client teams.
• Review installation sequencing, technical submissions, RFIs, inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve technical, coordination and programme risks before they affect delivery.
• Ensure robust QA processes, snagging, handover documentation and commissioning plans are in place and actively managed.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, quality and subcontractor performance.

About you:

• Proven Senior MEP Manager, MEP Project Manager or Building Services Manager experience with a recognised main/building services contractor.
• Ideally mechanically biased, although strong electrically biased candidates will also be considered.
• Experience delivering substantial hotel, high-end residential, mixed-use, commercial refurbishment or complex fit-out projects.
• Comfortable managing major MEP packages from installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Strong technical knowledge, with the confidence to challenge subcontractors and drive practical solutions on site.
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance, commissioning, programme coordination and MEP subcontract management.
• A visible, delivery-focused leader who can maintain momentum on a demanding project.
