Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager (M&E) to lead preventive and reactive maintenance across a diverse local authority estate, including offices, schools, and civic buildings.

The role requires strong leadership, contractor management, and a proactive approach to compliance and energy efficiency, with a focus on delivering high service levels and value.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Technical Services Manager or Engineering Manager role within Facilities Management.
• Strong Mechanical and Electrical building services knowledge and qualifications.
• Proven ability to manage multi-site estates, budgets, and service performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of M&E maintenance across a diverse property estate.
• Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety requirements.
• Manage PPM programmes and oversee reactive maintenance activities.
• Provide technical leadership to teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and drive improvements.
