Fusion People Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead for M&E projects in Sunderland, offering hybrid flexibility and a strong benefits package. The role leads the commercial function across major mechanical and electrical projects in the North East, ensuring robust cost control, risk management, and contractual compliance.

You will work with operations, pre-construction, and senior leadership to drive profitability and growth, mentoring QSs and commercial staff while shaping procurement

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior commercial roles within M&E/building services.
• Proven track record in managing commercial delivery on high-value construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of M&E projects from pre-construction to final account.
• Develop and implement commercial strategy across multiple projects.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors and major supply chain packages.
