Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. in the Manchester/Bolton region is seeking a Commercial Manager - MEP to lead the regional commercial function across high-value M&E projects.

You will drive strategy, governance, and profitability while supporting growth and client delivery. You will oversee revenue, margins, cash flow and costs, mentor a growing commercial team, and liaise with operations, clients and supply chain to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial teams on M&E projects.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and final accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function across multiple M&E projects.
• Develop and implement regional commercial strategies.
• Manage revenue, margin, cash flow, and costs.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, CVRs, and final accounts.
• Handle variations, claims and contract entitlements.
• Support tenders and pre-construction activities.
• Review terms and assess risk profiles.
• Lead negotiations and dispute avoidance.
• Develop a high-performing commercial team.
• Collaborate with operations, clients and supply chain.
• Ensure governance, reporting and compliance.
• Drive improvements in commercial processes.
