Job summary

Vantage Recruitment is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator for a busy, international freight forwarding and logistics operation in Castle Donington. In a small office, you will coordinate shipments, stock management and warehouse support, using Dispatcher WMS to keep orders and movements on track.

You will bring 3+ years in logistics or related fields, strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle/WMS/TMS.

Qualifications

3+ years of logistics, supply chain, or transport coordination experience.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping.
Proficiency with logistics software (SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS) and MS Office.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, keeping customers informed and deliveries on schedule.
Use Dispatcher WMS to manage order activity and maintain accurate stock information.
Work closely with warehouse colleagues on inbound processing, stock checks and order fulfilment.
Investigate missing, damaged or incorrect goods and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Support customer service, logistics accounting and accurate operational records.
Cover the Team Leader when required and help less experienced colleagues.
Provide practical warehouse support when needed, including picking and checking goods.
