Job summary

Clarion Events is seeking an Operations Manager to lead delivery of a major launch event in Germany and support DSEI UK & Germany. Based in the UK with flexible office days and travel to live events, you will manage budgets, safety, and stakeholder coordination.

The role requires an organised, proactive candidate who thrives in a fast-paced events environment and can balance multiple priorities while ensuring exceptional exhibitor experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference or exhibition industry.
• Proven Health and Safety experience.
• Organised and detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Customer focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Strong communication across seniority levels.
• Proficient with MS Office and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end operational delivery of a major launch event in Germany.
• Manage event operations budget forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
• Negotiate supplier and contractor costs for value and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to support build and breakdown activities per Health & Safety standards.
• Develop risk assessments and ongoing health & safety planning.
• Maintain Health & Safety files and relevant documentation.
