Portfolio is proud to be exclusively representing our award-winning, multinational HR & Employment Law services client in their search for a Senior Litigation Executive, specialising in Employment Law.

In this role, you will handle case preparation before Employment tribunals, working on behalf of business owners to assess tribunal matters, create court bundles, witness statements, etc. You must be educated to LPC level, possess Employment Law knowledge, and have strong Litigation experience. In return, you will gain valuable knowledge of Employment Law across various industries and excellent progression opportunities. This role also supports SQE qualification as it counts towards legal work experience.

Job Purpose

To assist our clients with Employment Tribunal matters, including advising on case merits, drafting responses, exchanging witness statements, and conducting telephone preliminary hearings.

Additional Responsibilities

Supporting clients with Early Conciliation and Tribunal cases by providing advice, drafting responses, exchanging witness statements, and conducting preliminary hearings by phone.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review Tribunal and Early Conciliation cases, including complex open track matters
• Draft responses, witness statements, and relevant applications
• Manage document disclosure and bundle creation
• Liaise with Tribunals, Claimants' representatives, and clients
• Discuss case merits and negotiate favorable settlements
• Support corporate clients as a dedicated Litigation Executive
• Conduct preliminary hearings by telephone

Candidate Requirements

• Law degree (or GDL) plus relevant experience and/or LPC/BPTC qualification
• Strong commitment to assisting clients through challenging times
• Positive attitude towards workload and teamwork
• Passion for employment law and meticulous attention to detail
