We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Litigation Executive to join our dynamic team!
As a Senior Litigation Executive, you will take the lead on managing motor-related claims, guiding cases from initial contact through to resolution. Your expertise will help us navigate complex legal challenges, negotiate effectively, and secure the best outcomes for our clients.
You will work both independently and as part of a successful Motor team. The ideal candidate will have previous Motor file handling experience or have worked in the insurance industry.
The role holder will deal with fully litigated small claims/fast track case loads of files and assist other Fee Earners as required.
To ensure clients are confident their legal affairs are handled professionally and efficiently, supporting the smooth operation of the firm.
You will handle a diverse caseload of defendant litigated files, from OIC to Fast Track. Responsibilities include reviewing damages, developing case plans, and coordinating with clients, third parties, and insurers through negotiations and correspondence. You will draft legal documents, attend court hearings, and manage cases from start to finish efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with legal standards, SLAs, and firm procedures while maintaining excellent time management and organisational skills.

To succeed, you should have at least 12 months experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases, and a good understanding of the CPR, SRA Code of Conduct, and motor insurance. Familiarity with medical reports is a plus.
You should be client-focused, organised, and able to meet billing targets while providing excellent client care. The ideal candidate takes initiative, adapts well to change, and works effectively under pressure—independently or as part of a team.
