Qualifications

Senior Litigation Executive Motor Manchester

Are you an experienced litigation professional with a passion for the motor sector? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise can make a real difference? We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Litigation Executive to join our dynamic team!

The Role

As a Senior Litigation Executive, you will manage motor-related claims from initial contact to resolution, navigating complex legal challenges, negotiating effectively, and securing the best outcomes for clients. You will work independently and as part of our Motor team. The ideal candidate will have Motor file handling experience or insurance industry background. Responsibilities include handling litigated small claims/fast track files and assisting other Fee Earners as needed. Your role is crucial in ensuring clients’ legal affairs are handled professionally and efficiently.

What will I be doing?

You will handle defendant litigated files, review damages, develop case strategies, and coordinate with clients, third parties, and insurers through negotiations and correspondence. Your duties include drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, and managing cases efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with legal standards, SLAs, and firm procedures while maintaining excellent organisational skills.

What do I need?

You should have at least 12 months experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases, with a good understanding of CPR, SRA Code of Conduct, and motor insurance. Medical report familiarity is a plus. The ideal candidate is client-focused, organised, able to meet billing targets, and capable of working independently or in a team. Proactivity, flexibility, and a commitment to quality work are essential.
