Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Senior Engineer - Lighting to lead the identification of asset needs and develop early solutions for lighting assets in the South East region. You will coordinate resources and ensure adherence to policies and standards.

The role requires Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status, a degree or HND, and strong knowledge of asset condition assessment, DMRB standards, and CDM 2015. You will drive activities to ensure safety and high-quality delivery across the network.

Qualifications

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with relevant highways experience.
• Degree or HND in a relevant discipline, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of asset condition assessment and degradation modelling.
• Knowledge of DMRB standards and their application on the highways network.
• Good knowledge of CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate identification of asset needs and development of early solutions.
• Ensure adherence to asset policies and standards in planning and delivery.
• Monitor delivery of early solutions and liaise with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain asset data and condition information in the relevant databases.
