Job summary

National Highways in the South East region seeks a Senior Engineer - Lighting to lead the identification of asset needs and develop early solutions for the lighting asset class, ensuring adherence to policy and standards.

The role requires a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, a relevant degree, and strong capability in asset condition assessment and DMRB/CDM 2015 compliance, with travel across the South East as needed.

Qualifications

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with relevant experience.
• Degree or HND in relevant discipline, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of asset condition assessment and degradation modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate identification and evaluation of asset data and needs to develop early solutions.
• Lead development of improvements/renewals including documentation, evidence and options for value management.
• Ensure asset data and condition information is captured and maintained in the database(s).
• Monitor delivery of early solutions and liaise with teams to rectify issues.
• Ensure compliance with DMRB standards and CDM 2015 during all activities.
