Bupa is recruiting for a Senior Activities Coordinator at Trowbridge Oaks Care Home in Wiltshire. The role involves running daily activity sessions, coordinating events and liaising with community performers to enrich residents' lives.

You will manage activity planning within a defined budget, support residents' engagement, and assist with meal duties when needed. The post emphasises care, creativity and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Creative thinker with plenty of ideas plus budget management and paperwork handling.

Responsibilities

• Run a morning and an afternoon activity session.
• Activities tailored to residents and include musical acts, days out, exercise classes, visitors from the community, arts and crafts.
• Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget.
• Support residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Organise birthday surprises and coordinate events, performers and days out.
• Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner duties when necessary.
• Arrange one-to-ones with residents using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading or a chat.
• Maintain care plans, activity notes and emails; support home social media channels.
