Job summary

Bupa's Trowbridge Oaks Care Home is seeking a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Co-ordinator to lead activity sessions and plan engaging programmes for residents. This role involves managing a defined activities budget, coordinating external entertainers, and arranging personalised resident interactions to enhance wellbeing.

You will collaborate with care teams, help maintain social channels, and contribute to a lively, inclusive home environment where residents feel valued and involved in daily life.

Qualifications

• You're a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, who can also manage budgets and maintain paperwork, effectively managing priorities as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for our residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to ones with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
