SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL (ENGINEERING) - AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE:

Bullisher is a data-centric fintech solution provider in the aerospace and defense industry for institutional level investors, looking to disrupt and revolutionize a $3 trillion dollar industry. We spearhead an industry-leading Blackbox to facilitate and administer trade agreements, delivering solutions through innovation with uncompromising agility.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The oversight requires systematic mapping of GRC (Governance, Risk Compliance, Management and Legal-Engineering Compliance) to ensure cybersecurity policies and processes are maintained effectively, avoiding duplication of effort and clarifying focus for shared IT and engineering resources. Areas to cover will include:

1. Corporate Governance: Appropriate internal controls, processes, and policies to meet GRC objectives, ensuring engineering teams meet development velocity while managing IP risk.
2. Risk: A team of three will create and implement policies, interpret requirements, and demonstrate compliance status. Responsibilities include defining and documenting controls, identifying and categorizing risk, and managing physical inventory.
3. Legal Support: Changes in firewalls, rule sets supporting workflows, separation of data for governance and compliance, and encryption.
4. Training & Development: Create a supporting environment for process mapping exercises for existing processes, standards, and policies.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

• STAGE 1: PRE-SCREENING (verification checks & DV security clearance)
• STAGE 2: INTERVIEW WITH THE CEO & GC

QUALIFICATION, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSET:

• 7-10 years of PQE in a similar position within the defense procurement and system engineering industry.
• A qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction, with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience, either in-house or in private practice.
