The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law is seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Lecturer in Education to play a key role in the design, delivery and assessment of our education courses including initial teacher training. You will be teaching across all levels including at master’s and doctorate level. You should have experience of teaching in the UK education system. The role is varied and interesting with a mix of teaching, research/scholarly activity and personal tutoring of students. You will hold a first degree in a science-based subject and/or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Science based subject) or a related discipline, and a PhD or equivalent doctoral level qualification in relevant discipline. You will be a qualified teacher and hold or be willing to complete a relevant HE Teaching Qualification normally within two years of employment. The interview will take place on Friday 16 th October Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
