Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Proven track record delivering software end-to-end with ownership.
• Strong Python for production services with testing and packaging.
• Relational DB design, SQL tuning, indexing, transactions.
• Experience building AI solutions with LLMs in production.
• API and microservices design with security and observability.
• Hands-on multi-cloud (AWS preferred) and distributed systems.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code and remote state management.
• DevOps practices including CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience evaluating AI outputs for correctness, safety, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Design and implement AI solutions using LLMs and agent patterns.
• Build guardrails, evaluation and monitoring for LLM systems.
• Design, build, and operate REST and gRPC APIs and microservices.
• Apply resilience engineering with timeouts, retries, circuit breakers.
• Maintain well-tested Python services and automation.
• Own data design and schema implementations with SQL optimization.
• Manage IaC with Terraform, Kubernetes deployments, and multi-cloud CI/CD.
• Drive engineering excellence, code quality, and incident analysis.
• Mentor engineers and establish delivery standards.
• Promote enterprise AI practices and reusable patterns across teams.
