Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to champion secure, scalable software solutions within an agile team. You will contribute as a core technical member, building trusted market-leading technology products and guiding AI-assisted engineering practices across multiple functions.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience (global coverage) and formal training or certification in software concepts.
Hands-on design, development, testing, and operational stability across systems.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to go beyond routine approaches.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and security via AI-assisted reviews and testing.
Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation and value.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for better operational stability of applications.
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and applicability.
