Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Markets Research Technology team. Lead agile, design and deliver secure, scalable technology products with a focus on Cloud-native data, backend, and AIML engineering to production scale.

You will work on challenging AI/ML data solutions, with a hands-on engineering role and influence on code quality, security, and delivery speed across teams.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proven track record in system design, architecting and developing microservices, distributed systems and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with Cloud services, IaC, containerized development, big data, and modern data engineering technologies.
• Familiarity with Cloud Data engineering services and MLOps stack.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise AI-assisted software development tools with validation of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with scalable approaches.
• Creates secure, production-grade code and maintains algorithms.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Builds data and AIML stack including data engineering, backend, Cloud DevOps and MLOps.
• Designs data engineering solutions using modern big data technologies.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices and establishes validation standards across SDLC/TLM toolchain.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve value realized by automation at scale.
• Contributes to engineering communities and events.
• Embraces learning, problem-solving, and a can-do attitude.
