Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a proactive Mandatory Training Lead to drive the statutory, mandatory and essential skills training across the Trust. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for training programmes, Induction, OLM system management and governance reporting.

You will line manage education staff, collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, and lead service improvements to support a safe and well-trained workforce across UHD sites.

Qualifications

• First degree or relevant equivalent experience and training in HR, healthcare, project management or equivalent knowledge.
• Post graduate qualification equivalent to level 7 (Masters level).
• Certificate of Education or equivalent teaching or training qualification.
• Evidence of business or business management development and CPD at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust's statutory and mandatory training agenda.
• Manage Trust Induction and Essential Core Skills training programmes.
• Line manage the Non-Clinical Educator, OLM Lead and Education and Training Coordinators.
• Provide leadership and support to the wider Education and Training team.
• Deputise for senior colleagues when required.
• Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes; monitor compliance and governance.
